Messenger: Check the Current Year SMS Usage

Scope

Steps to check the SMS usage for the current billing year.

Instructions

1. Go to Metrics > Current Year SMS Usage.

2. This shows a table with the number of SMS Units used per month in the current billing year.

   • Note: The Period section at the top indicates what billing year the report is based on.

3. Expand the month to see each example SMS usage within that time:

• • Transmit Time: The date and time that an SMS was sent.

  • Type: The type of SMS sent. Read our guide for further information: Messenger: Broadcast, Open, and Closed SMS.

  • Sent By: Which user sent the messages.

  • Status: Whether was message was sent (Processed).

  • SMS Units: The number of units each message cost.

4. Use this to track your SMS usage throughout the year and subsequently how much you will be charged.

   • Note: If you have purchased text message, this total is included at the top as Free text messages at the beginning of year. Subtract your current SMS usage from this total to track how many free text messages remain.
