In Select a Group, enter the name of the group(s).
Note: We recommend sending reports one group at a time to prevent the system needing to load too much data at once and help ensure your messages are sent quickly.
Tick the group(s) > Next Step.
Tick one of the following:
Primary Parents: The message will send to the primary parental contact of the student i.e., the parent listed as the priority contact in the MIS.
All Parents: The message will send to all the parental contacts of the student, regardless of their priority.
Students: The message will send to the student themselves using their own contact details. You can select this option in addition to one of the above options for parents.
For Send via, tick one of the following:
Email only: The message will be sent to the contact’s Home Email and/or Work Email.
Email with notification: The message will be sent as above but they will also be sent an SMS message to the contact’s Mobile Telephone.
For Preference, tick one of the following:
Once per Parent: For parents of siblings, this option means that they will only receive one message from the school regardless of the number of the children they have. Use this for general messages that are not personalised to any one sibling.
For each Student Parent combination: For parents of siblings, this option means that they will receive your message as many times as they have children. Use this for messages that are personalised for each student. We recommend this option when using this wizard.
In Student Reports, tick one of the following:
AM Individual Report: This is the latest report created in SIMS’Assessment Manager, stored against each student.
Profiles Document: This is thelatest report created in Profiles, stored against each student.
If you tick Use Date Range, use the Start Date and End Date to specify a date range for which report/document will be selected and sent. If you do not, the most recent report/document will be sent.
Click Next Step.
Tick Preview Report? to be able to download a PDF of a student’s report before sending.
In Select Message, tick School Report.
School Report: This is an automated message from $SchoolName$. Please find a school report for $StudentName$ attached.
Note: These tokens will automatically be replaced with the data value found in your account. Read our guide for further information: Messenger: Tokens (Merge Fields).
Click Next Step.
If you did not tick Preview report? then skip to Step 10.
For Select Student, tick one of the students to download a report for > Next Step.
On the Confirm message page, check all the details of the message being sent.
Note: If you ticked the preview option, go to Click here for preview to download a PDF copy of the selected student’s report.
In Options, you can tick one or more of the following then click Apply:
Translate message using Google translate: If any of the contacts do not have English as their first language, they will receive a translated copy of the message in their chosen language instead.
Schedule this message to be sent later: Select a time and date for the message to be sent.
Click Send.
Instructions – Individual Reports
In Select Students, enter the student's name.

Instructions - View Sent Reports
Go to History and select the relevant report from the options.
In Message History, the queued reports are displayed under the Message column.
Note: The status will be Awaiting Data until they become available from your MIS and it changes to Processed. This may take longer depending on the size and number of reports.
